a nice long walk, and I came across this?????
Curiously I snuck up on it and took a few shots.

a had that feeling to me... This thing was huge!
and heavy metal too... LOL!!!!! any ideas what
this could be???? It was about 4 ft tall...

Looks like some type of long line fishing float, or possible part of a buoy! Would make a lovely lawn ornament...Beautiful shot of a long and soothing beach...mind candy for me! Aloha!
I thought about bringing it home but I couldn't budge it, this thing is very heavy!!!!! Plus I'd probably have to drag it home, wouldn't fit in my car...LOL!!!!!
I think Daves onto something. A giants fishing float indeed....can ya imagine the size of the fishes he reeled in!!!! Amazing find Akemi...and amazing sky! I wouldnt mind taking a walk along a beach like that in those conditions. Last time i was in Thailand i used to take a run on a beach that was 2 miles long every morning....quite lovely actually...i used to have like 10 stray dogs running beside me as company...so sweet. Bla bla bla....BREAKFAST-TIME!!! See ya later!!! Enjoy your sunday. #:O)
haha i get this picture of your in my mind trying to budge that thing hehe.. wonderful shot and funny title for this great find...!cool!
Ha, ha. We both had the same idea of a strange beach shot today! I think this is part of a buoy but I don't really know. It's a nice surrealistic photo though.
It looks like a underwater mine from the pictures that I have seen of them. I may be wrong I hope so. I do not know where you live but you might check with the locals there to see if there was any under minning during the last war.
whatever this is, it's a fine image - yes, surrealistic =)
strange but i like it :)
A fine image. Sharp and clear with a great compo and pov!! I love this!!!
really a beautiful ocean shot ! love the tones !
A beautiful scene. This object is interesting. I'm not sure what it is, but let's hope it is not a mine/bomb. Might have to call the local authorities to check it out.
Wow!! Very intriguing - was it glowing? Radioactive? LOL :0)
LOL... "Take Me to Your Leader". Excellent UFO shot. Aloha
I think it's either a marker bouy that broke loose during a storm or a bouy that boats tie up to in deeper water..excellent pic and POV..
Fools! It is a Pod!!! I see no Ships....only Hardships!!! salute
It's God's fishing bobber! LOL! I have NO idea! :)
It's a bumb! It's a bumb! LOL! Fantastic work, stirs some memories to the silly inspector Clouseau series! :)
Very beautiful sunset and very cool mystery object!! I sure hope it was nothing dangerous with you tugging on it...lol Such dedicated photographers in here!!! Excellent find and a big Vote for you! :-)
lol, i like your humourous titel,Akemi. a fascinating object. !!!!!!!! #:O) !!!!!!!!
Beautifully composed.
makes for a super shot.. too bad you couldn't get it home!! :]
Hope you'll find peace inside.
Very interesting!! I believe it's a fishing item of some sort. If it were a mine, I am sure there would be some sort of flurry in the area about it. Don't you think?
What a find... a mystery! LOL Anyway like the compio and that beautiful sky!
If it's heavy, would it make a good buoy or float? Anyway, it is an interesting thing. The sky is awesome!
Splendid sky! You have to find the capsule space? I like to return to each description! Hope to re-examine you!:o)))
WOW, what a great find!!!!!!! I can just see you trying to move this huge float across the sand!!LOL!!!!!! excellent image!!!!!!
Could be a watermine?? Forgot the term they use, but cool find nontheless. Ransom it?? LOL Have fun for sure....LOL
you see the broken cables attatched? This once was on the ocean floor to keep cables from floating to the surface. Recent storms and hurricanes snapped the cables and rolled this ball&chain up to the shore during high tide...
