Description
No! No! No! Put those credit cards away. This is Pier Number 1, not Pier One!
Just to the left of the ship posted yesterday, we find two massive USNS transports. RO-RO types; the ramps are clearly visible. Next we see Pier NUMBER 1, and two more ships. The small, gray vessel is the Liberty Ship John W. Brown which was actually built in Balamer back during Big Mistake 2. It is fully functional and offers 'cruises' which give the participants a feel for life on a WW2 convoy ship thanks to the efforts of volunteers who go through the drill... including gun drill and, sometimes, flyovers by 'hostile' aircraft who are chased away by friendlies.
The really interesting thing is the size of Brown compared to the other transports. In WW2, Brown was a ship of some size: about 14K tons. The newer vessels weigh in at 53K tons... about the size of a modern battleship in Brown's days.
Next we see another carrier doing its thing.
Enjoy; thanks for viewing. Watch your heads!

Cool panorama! It might also look good in B & W, for a shipyard atmosphere (just a suggestion)
