Description
Portrait of Clive Owen
Reference- one of my favorite photos of him :)
Comments and suggestions appreciated as always :)
Oh and btw... this IS NOT A PHOTO or a mixture between a photo and who knows what else... I guess I have to mention it again. This is a render and photoshop postwork and no, I'm not going to do what I did for my "Chris" image which is to post the step by step image because I'm tired to explain and justify my self and more then that, it is useless- people believe what they want to believe anyway even now when I have three tutorials on photoshop postwork on marketplace...

Well, I for one believe you. Your talent & work never ceases to fascinate me. Bravo! And when I have more time I entend to purchase your tutorials. Thank you Addy.
Wow, brilliant work! Don't worry about anyone not believing this is painted, I am sure plenty of people do know what a great artist you are. Thanks for sharing your amazing work. :)
Outstanding work of art Addy!!!! Anyway, what i've seen in your work here since i know you is absolutely amazing and i would love to love to have ONLY 10% of your talent...;o)
Excellent work :) amazing what you can do with poser and ps
WOW more and more realistic all the time, another absolutly stunning and awe inspiring piece of art !
Addy your work mesmerises,I think about your image smileevery week and am currently attmpting something along that line!!Thanks for the will to want to achieve such a level, the inspiration from your talent~oh my!Ok Im off as I sound all butt kissy lol!bye cal
It doesn't matter what others think, it only matters what you know and the wonderful image you created regardless of anything else!!! Wonderful image!!!
This is absolutely fantastic. A masterpiece. Oh, and I thought he was great in Closer.
If you know photoshop you can see a lot of the work that has gone into this and it is not a photo. You can see where the eyebrows have been built up, the clothing / hair and areas of the skin painted in quite a few layers I would think. I would think that the poser renderhas only formed the most rudimentary base for what has turned out to be a wonderful piece of art. Excellent
It is unbelievable and fantastic!!!! A marvelous work!!!! This black and white give it even more the touch of reality!!!! Wonderful I can only adore your talent!!!!
God, that's Clive - rugged, sexy and all male! He's one of my favs and you've captured him perfectly. Gorgeous work. V. :o) CC
As Prog says, here we go again! LOL! I'm so sorry you have to persevere so much negativity when you post one of these amazing realism pieces, and it's truly sad to be confronted in your gallery. This is yet another masterful creation which you are so adept at creating, and it must taken quite a bit of effort to realize this image to this level! You manipulated Jose perfectly to resemble Clive and all the elements in this piece are perfect!! Absolutely masterful artwork, Addy!!
WOW!!!! Nuf said. ;o)
If you didn't smudge a picture, you should take the non-believing as a compliment. Its so good, they can't believe its not a photo. Don't be so defensive.
A stunning B&W photo! An excellent job! Greetz, Tjeerd.
Well Addy you can be damn sure that I believe it! I have your tutorials from the marketplace and they have been an enormous help to me, so a BIG thank's to you and absolutely STUNNING work!!!!!!!V
Unbelievable! well, given the doubts, maybe I shouldn't say that. I can't believe somebody has the ability to do this in Photoshop. oops, shouldn't put it that way either... just kidding, this is just magnificent!
I agree with RabidG. Consider the doubters' comments as complements. You are just amazing and do not need to defend yourself to your fans.
Stunning! Beautiful work. What I find funny (as in sad; not as in haha) is that some people render in poser all the time, project their render onto a canvas and then paint over it with oils or pastels, yet they are considered artists and the work "original". Yet when someone takes a poser image and does the same thing in a graphic program, using colour palettes and a mouse or tablet, they are called a fraud. Addy, you have real talent and the fact that people disbelieve is a testimony to your talent. Keep up the excellent work. (and no, I don't know addy and have never seen her work until today)
OMG! I have bought two of your tutorials, and just had to take a look in your gallery to see your work :) I can't believe how you have turned Jose to look so much alike Clive Owen..it really looks like a picture of him! He is a really handsome man, and you have done a wonderful job here. My hat off for you! Excellent work and a fav :)
Looks great, Addy!
hehehe I see your point and I don't think you have to explain anything... your talent is beyond words... just FANTASTIC!
Simply incredible!!! WOW.
my oh my !!!! bloody fantastic , i cant understand why some people cant except that you just have incredible talent...you are in a League of your own around here...if the non-believers spent more time on learning how to use there programs and utilities, instead of negative feedback.. just maybe, might be able to come up with something a little better themselves....excellent work, look forward to more...
I like this render and composite. The eyes, the expression, the clothing, the hair, and the composition are extemely pleasing. Thanks you.
Wow! You are amazing. Want a student? Me?
Here is an image from the same photoshoot. Silly girl, Trix are for rabbits.
I am sure I could find more using google images, if I cared to.
