Description

This image is for Meike aka SaintFox. It is my first really closed up portrait, P5 rendered, no postwork. I catched "Milla" right yesterday AND I really enjoy to work with this careful-done charakter ^^ There are a lot of resons why I dedicate this image to SaintFox ^^ For first- She is the one who said that the Milla is great in use... I agree- indeed she is. AND SaintFox is a person who is always interested in the story behind- neither it is an image or not. AND it is great to work with her, part knowlegde and sorrows out of the real life too. AND... Soon there will come the cold winterdays and we talked about "deutsche Winterseeligkeit"- that is the time in the year when you sit in front of the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate and listen to strories and fairytales while kitty is playing next to your feet and it snows outside .... Yes, dear it is you I am talking about *gg* Ob Du es nu annimmst oder nich ;P All right- the list of used stuff is really short this time ^^ V3, MillaCharacter and Hajib out of the freebies at DAZ. Lights: Two Spots, one white , one sephia But the making-of is muuuuuch longer LOL I had some problems with placing the shadows. I wanted to get shadows by the coins at the forehead - but I also had to decide either to get shadows at the forehead and loose brightness of the eye or have brightness at the right eye. I decided to have the brightness :) I could imagine that it would be very interesting to see a P6 render of this...with all the great lightsettings it surely could be much better... At the hajib I used my own P5 clothes shaders as at the coins too. Here I added an imagemap of an oriental rug to simulate a bas-relief And set only a bump, no displacement in a really small way (about 0.02). ... and they lived happily ever after :o)

If you are a good girl....(naaah)! Santa might get you P6(hint to hubby) so you can land those little shadows you so desire. In the meanwhile,,,face_off showed me cool trick. Set your main light to shadowmap at 3072map. Zoom it in with Shadow cam. Might work in future.acchh! Got a thing for dark eyed beauties.

I just found my comment I've wrote two hours ago not showing up... In fact now you managed to make me cry, yes, I know, I'm a sentimental old toad ;o) Not only that is is a fabulous image (those eyes go directly to the heart of the viewer!), your words touched me a lot (and again...sob...cough) and definitly made my day. It's a very special thing to meet someone online and find a friend at least isn't it?! By the way: Thanks a lot for the tip on the lashes.

Much much thanks to you all for your great commants and compliments! Now it is to me to be speechless ;) I have bad headaches today so I post my answer so late....................................... I have read that Steeleyes101 wanted to know something more about the creative process- well there isn't one so far... As written above I only took the "ingredients" and rendred. Yes I know- it is disappointing, but I am not good in writing down the steps of working. I just start with poser, set V3 and try to figure out the idea I have in mind. Setting pose, lights, clothes and then- testrender. If there is anything I do not want to have , change and -testrender. I have no scetches, I use poser as my medium. And while I am just a beginner I do a lot of experiments with shaders, light and so on. So I only can say at last- everytime I try to make an image in poser it is a growing process. Much thanks to you all again-I am flabbergasted ^^ In the case I remember the creative process I will try to figure out a making of, allright? Heyyy- this would be my first one ^^ Thanks to you all and to danae for the MILLA :o)
