Splendid and very opportune shot.....!!!! V
Very beautiful captures! In natural environment! Sublimate!V
excellent shot and find !
Excellent edit!!! And the thumbnail wasn't appealling at all but now I'm glad I looked!
I hate zoos!! and I think the background doesn't work here IMHO. Too dark, it makes it difficult to see the vultur properly. His/her contours are lost, being of the same tones than the background. just my 2 pennies! ;)
OOOOH!!! What a nasty fella. Look at them paws...and shaved head. He surely got picked on (lol...picked on....get it? Like chickens...sigh) in school huh? Have a great day. #:O)
He looks like an old Lady 100 years ago with this Lace bonnets!!!LOL He is an ugly bugger!!!!LOL Wonderful made image!!! I love your photomontage and I can't agree with tibet2004uk, I think you gave the whole image the look from captured in wildlife!!! Excellent, Richard!!!
Excellent Richard I love what you do with photos. Those talons are awesome he is so big V Cathy xoxoxo
Richard, While I think buzzards are about the ugliest bird I have ever seen, lol, this is an exceptional image! Your background works wonderfully well by the way! Had you caught this guy in his natural habitat, you might have been able to choose a different background, but the big bird is certainly visible, the reddish brown shows off his darker feathers really well. Even the back of his head which is more of a buff color shows up because the cliffs behind him are reddish brown! An excellent photograph! Leanndra
Oh what a fabulous bird photography of this so proud looking buzzard! First I thought that it is a vulture! What a beautiful wildlife capture! Bravo!!! ***
Great shot of this carrion eater. I like the Zion Canyon cliffs in the background.
Oh my! He has rather a nasty look doesn't he. Very nice shot Richard and thanks for sharing.
Great shot! Got any more, especially of Zion Canyon?
Now there are many who think that these birds are ugly, because they have pink heads, but I figure they are as regal as an eagle, they're just bald! They play an essential part in a ballanced eco system, so to me, they will always be great looking birds!!
Sheeeesh!!!! This birds may be ugly, but they can do some beautiful soaring in the skies.. Great detailed photo. Thanks for sharing Richard.
Wow... what creature... really amazing !
