Description
Back in the day when I surfed, paddling out into raging surf was just as exhilarating as catching a wave. The anticipation of catching a wave like the one you see on the way out would set my heart pounding. Being one with the wave and moving with no noise but the wave and your pounding heart cannot be explained but only experienced. Somehow your problems just melt away, and your mind is cleansed for a few hours.
Sorry about the rambling, it's been awhile since I've actually been on the other end of the lense, sometimes I just miss it. But I have come to grips with it, age and all, and am content to be on the business end of the camera....it's just sometimes.....
Aloha to all and a great weekend to All! Much Aloha!

Oh my gosh, this is fantastic. I love this one. Especially the fogginess of it. Bravo...Aloha
Hey! Don't let age slow you down buddy. Just get a slower surfboard and take it slow. This incoming wave looks huge and the water looks Brrrr...cold. What is that white bubbles just before the wave and left of this picture??? Could it be a shark? Excellent shot. Aloha
OH MY GOD!!! How freaking AWESOME is this one!!! WOOOOOW!!!! I tell ya, if i were to swim out to a wave like that....i would surely become one with the wave...i seriously doubt i would ever just be me ever again, it would consume me entirely, lol. Thats why i prefer scuba-diving, no matter the raging sea....it always seems so calm below the surface. Brilliant capture buddy!!! Have yourself a dandy day now ya hear. #:O)
I agree with all...Masterpiece David!!!!"V":))
wow! certainly don't see dangerous waves like that out here in Wyoming :) Very cool!

This is a wonderful image! The raw power of the ocean almost makes you dizzy. Great work. V
That type of sea would get my heart pounding too, not to surf the wave but to get the heck out of the water...wonderful shot showing how small we are to the power of the sea..

When I was child living at seaside, I did pass houres to watch at this... Impressive shot and particulary cool to me!
Very ominous!! Did he catch his wave? This is fantastic.
powerful image!
