Description
What my previously posted butterfly (the giant swallowtail) looked like in his former life. Quite a big change and for the better. :-) They are called orange dogs because they feed on citrus trees. When they feel threatened they poke out those red horns.

Wow, I am glad they change for the better. Nice catch. Thanks for the info. Aloha
Perhaps for receiving better tv-signals! ;) Impresive shot, never seen a caterpillar of a swallowtail before!
What the heck .This is the giant swallow tail? good thing for the change.Great capture.
One of the most bizarre caterpillars I've ever seen. Keep it away from our Florida orange groves! :)
This is a very beautiful capture. Outstanding shot. Very impressive.
Wonderful. He has the look of a St Bernard. I have never seen the caterpillar before. He looks like a big armour plated chap. Thankyou for sharing the fine photo.
Wow!!!! I have never seen anything like this! What a great capture!!!
Fantastic shot of something fabulously unusual... I like it!
