Description
My friend Jeff Young, agriculturist, botanist, and the grower of the most beautiful flowers passed away after a long illness last week.
He was young, and it's very sad to think of all the people who, in the future, won't be able to enjoy the fruits of his hands and his soul. His stall was, no question, my favorite and my first destination at the San Francisco Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. Operated by CUESA.
Here is their letter, including a picture of Jeff as I remember him.

A beautiful memorial painting for this man. I went to the website and read about his passing and saw his photo. Too young!
Beautiful dedication and painting for your friend. I saw the photo and read the story too. My thoughts and prayers go out.
I read the memorial, very sad. Sounds like he touched a lot of people. We love our farmers market, and there are some good people there. Beats the commercial stores for sure. Great memorial.
My heartfelt sympathies for the loss of a warm and generous human being; a loss that will touch many.
Gorgeous work and a heartfelt dedication. I hope he was a fan of your painted images like I am.
