"First Strike" (for then)
Drop Acid not Bombs!
Thanks to tom for reminding me of my ways, after getting angry over Bush`s handling of the Katrina disaster, and posting a Nuke pic :)
A slight reworking of an older flame of mine
Comments most appreciated ....... Peace!

Excellent fractal. Love the colors and explosion. Nice work. Aloha
Awesome!!! I love everything about this flame!!
Fantastic Flame! It is really amazing! Excellent work Andrew! :)
Oooh1 Explosive and most striking self similarity, the fire still burns:-)
Andrew, A beautiful image! Unlike most of your more dense flame images! This is beautifully balanced and your gradient pulls the viewer in and smacks them between the eyes with the detonation effect! Most excellent! Leanndra
Thank u Leanndra :)
Wow, the energy you captured in this flame is amazing. Colours are brilliant. Great stuff!!!
Bing bang is beginning... great artwork..excellent
Different emotions looking at this image. A big bang of course, but the shapes surrounding it look like pterodactylus (you know: the flying dinosaurs) and they look ever so lovely. So this first strike doesn't seem so scary anymore. Wonderful work, Andrew.
Dynamite in every sense, metaphorical and literal! Exploding energy charge fractal, wow!
Right on target Andrew!
Booom, acid spitting everywhere. Very different from your 'other' gorgeous works, but not less interesting. Excellent gradient, a real explosion like flame. ...and of course I feel honored ;-)
WOW!! This is wonderful and I share your thoughts!!
Beautifully composed, colored and illuminated. Dynamic, vibrant and excellent!
Well conceived, well created! Oh, and Drew, I would go with the black and white, slow shutter speed and multiple frames for that ultimate effect. (=
sparklingly coolness
I agree with Leanndra!!! WOW!!! Such energy and strength!!!
WOW! THIS IS SO COOL--BE GREAT IN MY WAR..LOL..V
