She's almost 90 now
One eye gone, the other close behind
Her hearing...well, "if everyone would stop mumbling"...!
So much pain but never complains.
I'd share this with her but she really would not understand. The attention would embarrass her. She lived through the Great Depression. At the young age of 21 she saved the family farm from the noteholders. Life had less gray then, than now.
But she is the one.
So, to those who know her or,,,to those who never lose sight of the big picture

This is a very touching image - and off of the brilliant technique you used here it reminds me on someone I know. I think I can call her my mentor, she has a major influence on how I think and act - and your image reminds me on the fact that I shall tell her about that. Who knows how long I will have the chance to do that.
