Description
I have always noticed that this is probably the remnants of a very old bridge. I also wondered why they took it down and moved it to where I was then standing when I shot the pic.
Thanks for your visit.
Happy Monday!

Really nice composition. Maybe the river kept flooding there?
Great composition and lovely natue image..Nice capture and well done!!
I wonder where the bridge went? :) A delicate, harmonious image. Yeah!
Excellent work -- and a bit different from the last few submissions... Perhaps the project was never completed. One of the saddest things I've seen was a half-completed church, the congregation having run out of energy and money before it was finished. Often our dreams are never realized, and perhaps this bridge is one of those hopes that never led to the other side of the stream.
Wonderful composition and Image.
Great pic and POV..looks like it could be a hazard for boat traffic if there is any boats on that river. It was probably easier to build a new bridge than redo the old one. Interesting shot Jodie.
Harmony disturbed from a missing bridge... somehow irritating, but a document of an important thing, that nobody needs anymore... all this in a very romantic landscape... (I would have added a bit more color saturation...)
The composition on this is very nice - you presented the subject so beautifully. I have to agree with the others...it was probably a case of being tried by it's piers!
this is so beautiful portioned and the perspective is brillaint excelletn DOF..love how the river begins at the side and twists around.. superb work :))..:)))
Wonderful capture, demands quite some balancing to walk over the wooden remnants LOL! Excellent work!
Beautiful nature image sweetie Looks kinda overcast there that day and I too wonder why the took it down and where it was moved too Picture perfect Vote n hugs Susan~
I love this shot Jodie ... great pov.
If they built the new one while the older bridge was still in use, they couldn't very well do it in the same place... Beautiful capture!
excellent find and capture ! Love this style of photo ... beautiful green tones!
wonderful nature scene. great atmosphere and colours. its a real pleasure to look at. !!!!!!! #:O) !!!!!!!!
The old bridge was probably rotted and dangerous so they simply built a new one and destroyed the old one for safety reasons.Regardless,I really like the compo here. The texture is so soft and lovely and the color simply beautiful.Great work Jodie.-M :)
fantastic capture of the river winding through the landscape! ;o)
Well, at least it makes for a beautiful scene - very romantic scenery... :))
