Thank you for visiting and for comments on previous posts. Today is my grandson's birthday, he still has difficulty celebrating his birthday..just one more reason we will never forget. I hope today as you remember this and the recent trajedy of New Orleans that you will take just a moment to smell the roses, to know that spirit is there, spirit is everywhere.

Time has passed since you went away
And much has changed in my life
But some things stay the same
Still I awaken to the scent of you
Still I fall asleep to the scent of you
You are in every flower, every tree
The scent of you is carried today, tomorrow
And always, on the winds of eternity
And every day I breathe deeply
