Description
Thanks for visiting.
In the Page, Arizona area you will find many landforms of 'Navajo Sandstone'. Unlike the red/orange formations to the north, Navajo Sandstone consists of many colors ranging from pink to various shades of tan, brown and lavender. It is here where a dam was built during the 1960s to form Lake Powell.

Very Nice Work Bob! Right down to the Army Green Water! ;o)
Well here I am at the bottom of the list again... A great point of view - and accented hugely by the sky and lighting. C'mon, Jay: Army green water?
No, Rich, I am! Sorry for being so late, Bob, I always look forward to your contributions, sometimes I save them for last, like a nice desert like Frangelico Creme Brule. Anyway, I love the light and colors here, very fine sandy, chalky surfaces and sky. All of one piece. Bravo.
An exceptionnal-quality work. Really nice and interesting. There's much to see in this picture. Congratulations !
oh Bob, what a wonderful vista you have created! the terrain is outstanding and your surfaces superb...magnificent work!
Love the emptinness, an abandoned land sensation and the lonely star. The sky tones are very beautiful too!
very nice.....
This looks almost like Lake Powell. Very nice work. Where did you get the terrain?
