Description
Hi all, this is my first entry. I made this from a combination of two photos from stock.xchng (a free stock photo site) -- "Pines and Sand Dunes" by maya51, and "Where the City Meets the Sea" by SFearby. Comments are welcome, but keep the "this is too low-res" remarks to yourself, this is the best I could get. Enjoy!

Nice composition and other-worldly atmosphere!
The combination and colors make an surrealistic image. Most times the horizon in the middle is not so good, but in your image it works well. ~Uwe
WOW This is beautiful! Welcome to Renderosity! Gorgeous work!! ;o)
very wellllllcome... dear very impressive lookinig faouwards for more of this stile bravo
Sublime Simplicity!
Beautifully done.
Great first post! Actually I usually make the "This is too compressed" remark, when it is warranted. However, I would not have guessed that this was not intentional? Looks more like a filter effect to me, and one I actually like! The composition is great, the contrast of linear man-made objects and the natural elements is superb!
well you're gonna kill me for commenting on this, but here goes. (deep breath:) It's a first upload and it's kind of an 'effect' montage, but I was drawn in by it. An apocalypse or dream, what makes it work for me is the sparseness of your choices, you didn't overload it but rather let a few elements speak for themselves. I agree with the above comments, especially digimon (on human-made & natural elements). You may know that early efforts at surrealism are often over-crowded for effect; but you had the clarity to let a few elements speak for themselves. And I like that one building is unfinished. (It was a good choice for this piece). I like it, acs, I really do. (whaddya gonna do, I'm a fan...)
