I think the technical term is "cool spheroid thingy." LOL!! This is soooo cool, Steve, and terrific lighting, too. Excellent!!
I have allready seen toys like this. :?
I really love this modern looking design! Your light and shadow setting is fabulous! Excellent work!!! V
Wow, you can spend hours tracing single connections in this thing. Wasnt the scientific name "Buckminster Fulleren"?
hi this looks awesome,wonderful designed knot ?? :)excellent work Steve V
Wow really nice! You did a nice model in Knotplot, and displayed in excellently in this render. -V-
Although I like cliff-dweller's name for it, it reminds me of a "DeathStar" framework. :D A buckyball, to answer badbug, is only one layer deep and has only two kinds of polygons (if I remember, it's made of 60 carbon atoms); this item is more complex, and if it were a molecular diagram, would contain more than carbon atoms.
I made a few test with Knot Plot. I thank you, I have very much fun.
very good design. I heard of it that all I know of Knotplot
Proper job , Part ! { It,s an example of nested polyhedra ! }
Yeah, looks like a giant cage to me! Very cool. I've have to check out knotplot as long as I don't have to have any math skills to use it :P -Suze
This is so cool!
