Description
I took this picture as we were passing by an Iraqi National Guard (ING) Checkpoint.
This soldier is guiding civilian traffic over to the right for inspections.
As you notice the soldier is wearing a ski mask.
Many ING soldiers do this to protect their identities due to the constant threat of personal attacks upon them and their families.
There have been several ING soldiers family members executed by people who disapprove of their participation in the rebuilding of Iraq.
I welcome all comments and opinions you may have.

The best comment I can make is keep them comming. Not only will it improve your photo skill's but, will also give the world a personal view of what's going on over there. Keep your head down and come home safe Thank's
them and their families...
Please do keep the photos coming. It's intensely interesting to see what goes on there straight from your camera. Thank you & be safe.
Could it get any more real than this? It's nice to see people willing to share their personal experiences of events that sometimes lose their meaning in the maelstrom of mass media. This brings it home and makes it personal...
Gotta agree, keep em coming. It really is good to see this from a perspective other than what the media wants us to see.
