Description
I am only just starting out serious self learning of 3D Studio Max in the hope of making a career out of it soonish.
Here is my first creation from scratch that is still a work in progress.
Should be finished in another week of witch I will post here for further advise/comments.

i don agree wid others... u need to put some more lighting and better textures.. otherwise nice work.......
I like it, very new-age and sleek. A few things: the textures are a tad bland, and there isn't really a focal point to tie it together.
Judging by others comments, I guess it is all a matter of taste. I like it vey much. especially the pov and the lighting. I want to slap the marble and listen to the echos. :) very well done.
It's got a very cold, polished corporate style to it... very cool. I think you might need to break up your texture tiling a bit more. Very nicely done. :o)
