Description
This is an artistic recreation of what Charen would look like from Pluto's surface. The challange of this was figuring out how to make the appearnet sizes correct. If my math is right, this is in reality how large Charen and the sun would be in this FOV.
Thanks for looking!

wonderful picture !
Very nice space image, very convincing.
Pluto's orbit is massively eccentric and skewed to the solar plane... my hat's off to you if you can actually run the numbers to determine the apparent size of the solar disc in a specific season! I'd definitely agree the sun would be nothing more than a bright star from out there. I also didn't think they had anything more than guesswork about the orbital distance of Charon ... until recently, they didn't even know Pluto and Charon were seperate bodies!
Terrific homework! Very impressive starfield, the sun looks perfect and the lighting is right on. Excellent impression.
I like this a lot..great spacework!!
You are also correct in depicting a faint atmosphere on Pluto. I enjoy these realistic space images!
makes me wanna get my moon boots out and go for a stomp!!!!excellent work and research...produced superb results
Love it!! Very cool, dark, moody, detailed image. Wow...space realism :) Now we need a tour of the rest of the planets and their moons...LOL!
Awesome space art! Love the sky, lighting and mood. Cool POV, and the terrain and surfaces are excellent. Outstanding render and pw.
fine space art (cool terrain too)
Great space!
The math looks perfect to me. Beautiful space pic.
Taken from Charon? Great Work!
holy cr@p! you really did a lot of research and work for this render, which is magnificent in all aspects...amazing space art
Ummm you knew how to work out how big Charen should look from Pluto!? I'm flat out finding my toothbrush! That in itself is amazing - this looks real! Wonderful stuff - congrats on the excellent research.
Beautifully done... truely a magnificent spacescape....
Our space program is moving too slowly ...since we are spending too many dollars on no return investments like this crazy war! We could be so much further ahead in space exploration - instead we invest in being the world's policemen ...sad! Your work here is inspirational; and, very beautiful.
Gorgeous!!!!!
Wicked Terrain and Super Lighting Dude!
Excellent as always, and I agree with Costaud....very convincing!!!
Fabulous composition!!
