Description
Recently created for Future Publishing/3D World magazine for their (issue 69/October 2005/anime special) cover image, and as part of a tutorial inside, on using Poser, with the final emphasis on using it as a 'plugin' for other apps.
The figure is Daz's Aiko with various morphs and tweaks, the gun was modeled in Cinema, and the whole lot (the majority of the work) was textured, lit and rendered in Cinema.
Chanlum was used in the skin shader to add more softness, and the leather shader was created from various procedural noise layers only.

This is a really cool use of poser in C4D. The skintones are fantastic and the way you lit the scene really makes the most of that hair. The only crit I would have is that the eyes look a little 'stuck on' to the face. a bit more specularity and reflection might do the trick. Topw work.

I get 3D World each month, and am amazed at the quality. Both pics are stunning. It'll be nice to see more of Poser in the spotlight.

This is just outragesly good! Her very dimensions make her stand out! The shadowing, the way her clothes fit to her body, the leather like texture of her costume, the way it reflects the light from the very sheen of its surface awhhh it just gives me the chills it's sooooo perfect...
