Our past and inabilitys to let go of it. Our love for that which no longer returns our affections and attentions. Our dependencies on that which comforts and makes us feel safe. Abandoning everything to start over actually does not exists. Our DNA and that which we have become cannot just be so simple discarded like a snake shedding its skin. We are who we are and we must find peace within ourselves. It is the only way to release the bonds which binds us.

Wonderfully creative Gun! OK, here's another take. One of the things that bind...us together is our empathy. With that we can feel each other's pain and give of ourselves to reach out and heal, at least the spirit. With that we can merge with the suffering around us, near and far. With empathy, we can become one with the other, and we can seek change, healing, justice. What a thought provoking image you have here Gun. Very special indeed. Excellent work of art! V

What I like very much about this picture that is made out of nature(Stone-or given the impression that it could be stone)With simple things, around us, you can make beautiful pictures.
