The white Dove has always throughout history, symbolized love, hope, joy, purity, fidelity, new beginnings, the soul, and the Holy Spirit, to name just a few, a big thankyou to Ilona and her husband for the wonderful time we spent recently enjoying nature together..

I suppose one needs to compare the dove to the raven and two sparrows to set it in perspective as a symbol. I'm laughing now as the parallel fails to reach me but flits about landing here and flying there.
Splendid and very opportune shot my friend..!!! A very simbolic image...!!! V

such wonderful detail... glad you had a great visit! :]
Oh Man!! Exquisite indeed, the tone and detail are perfectly reproduced!
Such elegant birds. You could spend hours watching them. Before we moved into town three years ago we lived in a rented house in the country and we had some fantail doves. It was always so fascinating to watch their antics. Although not caged they didn't fly far from home. Thanks for sharing, brings back so many happy memories :-) Noeline
