OMG! What a thing to happen "just like that" - and congratulations on having camera at the ready! Excellent! But not for the poor owner of that vehicle huh!
How did it start? hehe you eat with your camera handy, how cool! What a photo, those flames look so fierce, excellent capture... ~V~
That's one way to get a new engine. Has the insurance company seen this :-) ? Terrific photograph.

Surely to high temperature she made that in the car a short circuit took place and he caught fire the motor...!!! I congratulate him for the great sense of the opportunity to take this impressive picture...!!! V
Isn't it amazing how all the 'great pics' are accidents-because one just happens to have one's camera handy. It helps to have good powers of observation too, of course. ;-D
Superb catch Richard - I see you eat, and probably sleep, with your camera - good idea and most excellent photojournalism! Bravo sir! Well done indeed!
OMG!! NOW THAT's HOT!! VOTE!!!!
Ohhhh I am so glad nothing awful happened here. I'd hate to have been the owner of the car though all that damage. Super shot Richard you were in the right place at the right time here. So glad it didn't touch yours V Cathy xoxoxo
Innocently thought this was a pic of a classic V8, one of those that makes your knees tremble. But caught me by surprise opening the thumb showing this other VERY hot V8!!. No doubt having the camera always with you is a great idea. Months ago an SUV ran into the place you were having lunch a minute ago, now it's your Subie that got lucky, are you a stormbringer also Richard?.LOL. Great unexpected job!!
This must have caused quite a stir! So glad no one was hurt in this. Lucky for your car. Excellent shot. That is what I would do if I had a digital camera (always carry it with me)LOL
Wow, you sure get the best and very interesting photos. This is fantastic. Bad for the owner of the vehicle though. V

Belle prise de vue !!! V
Wow. The heat looks so intense already that the tires are melting. I've heard these fires will even melt aluminum rims if they aren't contained and put out. A great photo - I've been looking through the posts for possible comments by the insurance company! :)
Fantastic action shot, but not so happy for the owner of this car!Excellent work!!V
Oooo man that's scarey..great capture..
Cool (or is that HOT) pic Richard, should be on the News! Bravo!
