Never can tell what you'll get when you throw a little eye of newt in a blender with some bat wings and a generous shot of hard liquor.

Oops, I lost a comment I started somewhere. I love this image, the eyes of it speak to me. It is an electrifying piece of peace.
Where do I start? Excellent first post!! Superb imagination! It seems to me, from the SCI-FI I have digested in my short time on this blue marble, that a common ideal of our future evolution, is that we would eventually shed our fleshy shells and become energy-based entities. Some see this as what our spirits are like, after we shuffle from this mortal coil. Whatever way one chooses to see it, this image evokes (For me anyway) a wonderful feeling, a hope really, that we could aspire to be such beautiful and magical creatures as the one in your image! I love this!
I absolutely love this image. The colors are perfect. Well Done.
