Description
I was digging through hundreds of photo's I've taken with the digital camera and I came across this shot from last winter.
This is the largest tree on our block,
I framed it on the top half and I still couldn't get it all in!
In-camera framing (No post cropping)
Peace!

Beautiful tree. Nice photo.
The b/w contrast is great. It's amazing how the top of a tree can make a great photo..well done
Ooh! I like that! Now go get one without all that horrid snow. And with leaves. ;-P Nice job with this. :-)
trees are so full of imagination, I love to look at them and imagine the energy that they represent, sometimes like upside down lightning, from the earth to the sky, or fingers, earth whiskers....the branches following some unseen currents of energy...celebrating the sun
Great contralucce... a very fine shot !
That is one big tree. Reminds me of the human circulatory system. I for one never tire of trees, so post more if you like, this is fantastic! =]
Beautiful eye for form, you captured this just right! Amazing image! I love trees and have tried a few times with my camera to capture a good image but it just doesn't work for me. I'm jealous with this one. Perfect!!!
It looks even larger from the framing -- that is a perfect shot.
there is a cottonwood tree close to my house that is larger than any tree in the area. I hate it because all the leafs always ends up in my garage and driveway. excellent shor Eric
I love trees - and this POV makes this shot such a beautiful graphic view to the nature. Wonderful! :-)
Caught my eye imediately!...Some people would pass this by as a being simplistic, not I...I find beauty in the meekest of forms. The stark contrast in this image is exceptional! Excellent eye for nature's gifts my friend!
