Description
I got the impulse to show some of my very first things from over 3 years ago,
just when i started here at Renderosity.
Next month we will have the theme Myths in 2D Forum,
and i start a little beforehand by saying goodbyre to my personal myth,
That what have bothered me till now,
not always but now and then.
Because I have no childhood memories I have shaped a myth.
Must have been an uhappy childhood
that has made me to the person I have been, and am today.
My crisis after the cancer surgery have given me many things,
Life is precious, I can no longer live in the past
as a victim of a childhood myth.
I am that I am, here and now,
shaped by the past but not anymore bound by it.
I am no victim, I make my choises,
I create my life instead of being a victim of it.
I will not talk anymore about it,
have done so enough in the Forum,
Just let the images talk by themselves.

O my, this is very brave of you to let it behind you, and so true, we live now, and not in the past. I can understand how you felt during your life, but this is a brand new start for the rest of your life...I am so happy for you that you made this choice for your innermost peace....thanks for sharing this touching moment.....and what a wonderful expressions each art work here.....HUGS XXX
I agree with Ilona. It takes courage to not only bring up and ponder fuzzy or detailed images of the past, but present it and share it. So many people here to listen and that is a blessing for us all. These are marvelous keepsakes. I admire you and your talent, Gun. :0)

I would never minimize your pain or past, but you are not alone, unfortunately there are too many that share similar stories. Life can often be Hell on Earth. I share some of your pain. I sense that you find healing in this wonderful community here, and you would be right! I personally have met friends here that were very supportive when times were dark for us. It was a great feeling to know others were supportive. Yo have a long road of recovery ahead, but you have an extended family here to support you in your journey! Peace! ;)

What has made you who you are, is your past, all the lessons and difficulties, and pain of things gone by, become our new strengths and wisdoms, and and challenges met!!! I applaud you for your strength and courage to let it go and carry on, in a new light with a new vision with a new torch to guide you into your brand new life, renewed...... peace and love and huge hugs to you...... ;)
so true... there's a time we have to take control of our lives & not find blame for our actions or our fate through our past, not a victim but a survivor... this in reaction to your words... now the image... a reflection & inquisitive thought of family lines & memories.. when we look at those old photos of our parents when they were kids & ourselves... what were we thinking... this is so wonderfully done... the overlays & tone & overall presentation! i really do luv this... a lot!!! :]

A fantastic composition and presentation. Yes, we shape our own lives, but regardless of all efforts, we cannot totally escape the past. It is our past which makes us who we are today.
Yes, we have to get peace inside. This is how life has shaped us, up to today, but from now on I am responsible for myself. it can be hard not to hide.

I'm sorry to have missed out on your talks in the forum .. but what's most important is that you have put the past behind. Whatever you went through, made you the person you are today... and from what I see here at RR .. you are highly respected and I see a lot of people here who love and care about you. These photo's and the words you have put to them touched me ... thank you for sharing them.
