Description
Let us remember,
let us remember the heroes of Warsaw,
the martyrs of Treblinka, the children of Auschwitz.
They fought alone,
they suffered alone,
they lived alone,
but they did not die alone,
for something in all of us died with them.
(Eliezer Wiesel)

WOW my last comment before to sleep, and it's for this AWESOME PIECE OF ART!!!!! What a beautiful words, so TRUE - YES WE MUST NEVER FORGET, for their memoires and our children. EXCELLENT SAD BUT BEAUTIFUL IMAGE IN THIS MESSAGE - MORE THAN EXCELLENT - BRAVO Leah!!!!
This is a very powerful and moving image of a tragedy that should never have been allowed to happen and must be remembered so it never happens again. Bravo!
Very dramatic and intense memorial and reminder of the world's most traumatic era ever witnessed by mankind. This character is remarkably done for this image in the fact of the markings and the serialized tattoo on her arm. A user here posted a photo journal a couple months ago on his visit to Auschwitz, and it's quite well documented and very powerful. Upon viewing the series and reading the factoids with each shot, it gives quite a horrible bearing for what those went through. Most excellent image and memorial, Leah.
Excellent Leah! A very powerful work. May the horrors never happen again.
No matter what type of image you do, it is always wonderful!!! You really captured the emotional impact in this one, Leah!!! EXCELLENT!

Dramatic and sad. But very fantastic work Leah :-)) Hugs Diana
We must never forget. We must never allow such evil to happen again. Awesome background, sets the horrifying mood of a Vernichtungslager extremely well. Her pose and expression are perfect. The bruises, the dirt and the tattoo are wonderfully done. Awesome message, great impact, impressive work!
A very intense and even shocking piece - a worthy tribute to one of the worst examples of what mankind is capable to!
