Do i have to manually select and flip every polygon thats facing the wrong side? Cause if i render with "double sided" checked i get edges around the polygons since its not one continous surface...

That rok import/rok convert plugin is getting pretty old, it has the cpp file with it so someone should update it to version 7 :)

Tephladon ( ) posted Tue, 21 May 2002 at 4:14 AM

I had no problems with polygon facing. If you are having problems with the faces, just unify and then align and that should do the trick.

There we are. Cel Anime. Now what anime porn will I make with this!???? The models are very basic low bandwidth. I could make an army of these characters in less than a month. Man talk about pumping out movies!

Cool :)

learned the command "align" :)

the model i have here has 2 point polygons between each surface polygon, so i had to remove them aswell :)

There is a plugin for Ligthwave which alows you to import directly from *.rok objets with all the faces in the correct way, without using "align" comand. Check out these model, maybe they are low-pol but the still rock...

Tephladon ( ) posted Tue, 21 May 2002 at 9:39 AM

That's what I used. I used the plug. This is perfect for subdivision.

The crappy rok importer doesn't work with Lightwave 7.5.

Asciicodeplus ( ) posted Tue, 21 May 2002 at 2:43 PM

The importer is in japanese, maybe thats why it doesn't works. If you need to import something ask someone who has Lightwave 7 or later(like me) or get "rok2lwo.exe"(but with this the faces are all messed up)
