I am looking at getting this new Poser.

I am concerned that it needs an internet connection after the install. Is that correct?

My internet connection is not always available, so I am asking about any post install permissions I would need.

Thanks.

AFAIK, P14 does "call home" periodically but not every time it's booted.  If you are using Poser 13 it's roughly the same deal with Poser 14.  You might be wise to ask tech support about this before purchase.  Perhaps someone smarter than teh Mollz can address this concern. =\

My answer would be the same as Molly's/ I have opened Poser 14 without internet, but not often. I'm usually connected to the internet and have Poser open most days so I can't say how often it needs to connect. As Molly said, your best bet is to ask support.

After a successful license check, by default there's a 7 day grace period before license is checked again (internet is required).  This is controllable on a per license basis by support staff with a max of 365 day grace period by policy.
