If I have to start being on the lookout for items I have already purchased that are being reintroduced.  I will stop purchasing products by you vendors.   I can understand trying to attract a new market, but you should note somewhere that the product was previously available.

I have spoken with the vendor, and in fact, this new release is an updated improved version.  The older one was removed from the store a few years ago. This is what the vendor had to say about the current version:

"The original version of Iron Owl was removed from my store about three years ago. I decided to create and release an updated version because I thought it would be a good opportunity to introduce the product to new customers who have joined our community over the past few years.

The new version is not simply a re-release. All of the materials have been updated and improved. I also corrected the product’s loading position. In the original version, the product would load from the library partially embedded in the surface. This issue has now been fixed, and the product loads correctly on the surface."

That probably should be stated though.

That said, the textures look the same to me in the renders. The new version opens with an AI image which makes it kind of hard to tell what it really looks like anyway.

If it is an updated version, then it should be offered as an update to previous owners. I thought AI promotional rendering was considered deceptive advertising.

It says there's no AI used in the promos. Since the old product was discontinued, I don't know that it could be updated.
