Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2026 Mar 08 8:23 pm)
You got it. I am an end user so if there is no content I can't just go and create something. Or I need at least reliable and consistent conversion tools for being able to use already existing content for her.
I think the question should be framed a bit differently: what does Dawn 2 need so content creators are interested in creating for her?

Even as an end user, please post pictures so we get inspired and see what people come up with!
I think letting people see what is possible with D2/Poser is very important. Even if it's just experimentation.
Therexwas a Dawn2 render thread here that never got sticked and been buried for a year now. I posted several there including my critique of the figure with detailed images. I'll see if i can dig up the thread URL.
The main issue for me that the textures are not P13 compatible and require serious tweaking to look good even out of the box. There were no updates to fix that since release and promised high resolution textures and morphs never been released for various reasons.
As always with a new figure it boiled down to ease of use and quality and quantity of content.
This is so true. We were promised diverse, high quality characters for her and all we got is yet another twenty-something slim Caucasian with no alternatives. The release was...not impressive. I have her but I haven't used her in a year because there is nothing that inspires me about her as of now artistically.I'm all set to switch to a new figure, but there has to be content. Not counting the 2nd face prop, there are only three characters for her, total, and I don't love any of them.
I bought Dawn2, because I wanted to support her, but I don't think I've even downloaded the files yet.

That thread was recently removed from sticky, and had been sticked. Sticked threads are for active and frequently read threads, for multiple reasons.
The Dawn 2 thread was neither actively posted to, or even read that much. I would have pulled the sticky long before it was pulled truthfully.
Honestly, I don't know why all the fuss was even there over Dawn 2. Years of grandeur promises usually never work out, with anything...
Those that believed the promises, well, learn from it.... And by the way, Dawn 2 was released 6 months ago, not a year ago.....
To me, the entire point of Dawn 2 was to keep the Hivewire forum alive... And now Hivewire is a ghost town...
I can't imagine why either...............
Some things are easy to explain, other things are not........ <- Store -> <-Freebies->
yes i know this.Cath has some really nice ethnic characters in the works, but she's been having health problems. She's been forced to leave the country, because she can't afford healthcare here. Hopefully they will be available eventually, but obviously, her health comes first.

When Dawn 2 was first released, there was a lot of buzz. The community was excited about her possibilities, and she was widely discussed on various forums. But over time, the attention seemed to fade. Nowadays, I rarely see her mentioned, which I personally find disappointing.
Dawn 2 has so much potential. Her flexibility and capabilities make her a powerful alternative in the world of 3D figures. That’s why I want to revive this discussion and showcase what’s possible with Dawn. This isn’t just a place to display finished works—it’s a space where we can inspire each other, exchange ideas, and support one another.
I invite everyone to share what they’re working on with Dawn 2. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or an experienced user—let’s see what you’ve created, share your progress, and motivate each other to bring out the best in this figure. Have you discovered useful techniques, tips, or hidden features? Share them here!
Let’s explore Dawn’s possibilities together and give her the recognition she deserves. Here’s a glimpse of what I’ve created so far:
