So...had to try the chocolate demon thing didn't I ? Byrdie - yours are more fun !!

Gill
Pretty awesome stuff around here for sure. @Gill, yeah that "appendage" gave me a bit of a pause too. Wondered if maybe it needed nudity tag but when I zoomed in it's actually part of his outfit. Which of course is the same colour as the rest of him, being as he's made of delicious dark chocolate ;-)
Retired and running on reserve....!!
ar 9:16...is cool...haven't tried 16:9...as yet..
I like it before AI I did everything in 16:9 because it's the aspect ratio of my Monitor did a lot of 47:20 Panavision Mojoworld too should try a Landscape in it see what happens.
Remember...No matter where you go there you are
Ladylake - Bah humbug Valentines sounds fun with all the twisted minds gathered here, ha ha...
Byrdie - Enjoying the treats, will get around to some chocolate of my own soon... :)
Lunaseas - Looks like the cotton candy people have a Queen, lol, nice. Also luv the tiger and the firey red head!
Gill - I used Vue a lot too, but I also didn't like the the eight to ten hour render times, that's if it didn't crash, lol, a fun buzz kill... ;(
Len - Cool looking villain, I might try a few with some unexpected characters, good guys gone bad in a 'what if' universe eh... ;)
Darkglass - Doing some excellent stuff as always, got me thinking about amber now. Seems like 16:9 works in V4 ok
Bakapo - Looks like the reality in Wombo is fun, can't wait to see what else you find!

What helped kill Vue for me too is that now, if you don't spend money with them on the latest upgrade, you have to pay a whopping $199 for an activation code if you need to reinstall or have a new pc to install on. I can't believe they did that. You have to pay them to activate a programme that you've paid for (many times over in my case as I started with 4 d'Esprit!!) to get a code that they wrote into the installation to stop piracy. Disgusting and disgraceful as far as I'm concerned. I do still have 2015 Infinite installed on my current pc but this is at least 7 or 8 years old now, although I did replace the HD about 3 years ago.Ladylake - Bah humbug Valentines sounds fun with all the twisted minds gathered here, ha ha...

When I was looking for something else last week, I found my original 4 d'E installation disk that I thought I'd lost or thrown away. That, I believe is the only one that doesn't need an activation code so as and when I need it, I may install that, although myst of my content won't work in it as it's not backward compatible, but I can still use it for what I'm doing now which is promos for Etsy. I have the original obj and 3ds the I created so I can re import them and retexture as best as can be done in such an old version. In fact, I may try it out on my lappie when I have a spare hour or few.....

No it's not a few (17 I think) pixels taller than tru 16:9, all of my Razorback' were resample/resized to ture 1920x1080 for posting here.A red fox test for 16:9, not bad, but not sure if it's a true 16:9 compared to V3
Remember...No matter where you go there you are
Resized, the 16:9 comes out at 1920 x 1097 which is exactly what I used to get in V3. I made a PS action that resized and cropped for quickness back then. Didn't work well on the V4 3:2 ratio as it stretched them out of proportion, so I'm happy to crop 17 pixels top and bottom again.
Pic used for testing

the marketing dept at Cornucopia must know something nobody else I know who ever used Vue does because I have rarely encountered anyone who still uses it, at least in the DAZ/Poser circles, it had a lot of awesome features but I would subscribe to Adobe or Autodesk products before even considering their plans and that's saying something.rhol_figament posted at 4:47 AM Fri, 3 February 2023 - #4455261

I hate subscriptions anyway but their locked to one PC limitation literally lost me as a customer the first time I upgraded to a new PC 10 years ago.Anyway Unreal Engine does everything I want in that area and for free

I got Flowscape last year as a kneejerk reaction to their announcement, but I've not installed it Think I paid $10. There are a few who still use it and post on the Vue Gallery page on FB, but it's nowhere near as busy as it used to be. I used it for over 20 years. My last upgrade was 2015 Infinite. After that, Cornucopia site died and so did the sales I had there that pretty much paid for my yearly upgrades.
Thank goodness for AI is all I can say....otherwise anything in my home that didn't move would be quaking in it's boots as to what colour I'd be painting it next hahaaaaaa
