Dragon kitty is beautiful! So are dragon greyhounds. And the ships ... wow, that's quite a difference. I'd never have guessed it was the same prompt. The Stable Diffusion install I have also has updated to a new version, I've been playing with it and some of my old prompts are not quite the same. Got to figure out what's good and what ain't so good all over again it seems. Tried one of my Snape in a speedo on the beach prompts and somehow got this. I think it's a bit borked around the nose even though I used face restoration but it's still pretty funny. I think he's wishing he'd gone to Hawaii to try skinny dipping because his expression practically screams "Brrrr ... that water is cold!"

Here is a sample of another project, more personal project I'm working on - asking the A.I. to imagine what my original French-Canadian Ancestors looked like, when they met and married in the original settlement of Montreal, in 1672.  I think these are as accurate an image as I could create myself, incorporating the clothing, expressions and physical appearances typical of the era. In this case, I asked the A.I. to generate images in the style of portraits painted by William-Adolphe Bouguereau. In a way, I have given myself, and my extended family, a genuine and pretty accurate facsimile of what they might have looked like.

@Lenord -- no worries he's not cute, all cats have their place in the order of things. Tommy the Cat looks like he's from an awesome noir/goth graphic novel; I'm sure he's got more than one interesting tale to tell -- if & when he's in the mood to take a break from patrolling his turf. 

@gill, how did you get correctly drawn Santa hats on your critters? I just ran a batch in Stable Diffusion because I needed a replacement for a badly rendered hat on one of my otherwise lovely kitties and 5 out of the 6 were absolute messes.

@Byrdie -  in Midjourney using V4. V3 gave similar odd results as yours

This is what I got in Wombo when asking for a dragon cat with lots of fur.  lol   AI took the "lots of fur" very literally.  Only got an elegant cat with no hint of dragon.  Will keep trying, :-)

That is indeed a very posh cat, looks like he'd be quite at home in high society. Downton Abbey or Agatha Christie manor house, he'd fit right in. I think I am giving up rendering Santa hats in SD and using clipart ones instead. Because there's just no fixing this:

All the dragon cats look good. I wish they were a real thing. 

All I got for my efforts in SD on the computer were some interestingly patterned cats, barely anything you'd term a dragon kitty. So I tried Dall-E over at NightCafe, better luck there. Some were still more cat than dragon in their makeup, but really exotic, sci-fi type cats. Think I'll work a few for the gallery later, here's a sampler.

And I just noticed some kind of marking on the second one that isn't supposed to be there since I used no artist's names in the main prompt. I guess the AI thinks a "painting" should be signed or else it just don't look right.

I just did a few cat dragons for my daughter, she's the cat lover, l wasn't expecting a run of them, lol.  I have to admit the Wombo ones all look super nice, you guys are very creative, some awesome images all around!! 

Len, that ol' ally cat gave me a laugh, one grumpy look on that mug, Primus tune is a purrfect fit eh...  ;)

Not really into cute stuff either, but maybe one here or there for a birthday or hoilday.  So one more, to get the cuteness out of my system ha ha...

On this side of the world, I just ended up spraying coffee all over my desk hahaaaaaaaa.  Inspired by that photo of Breeze that I dug out.....  they're all funny/cute/brilliant, but #4 just cracked me up and I was drinking at the wrong time :)

Mid-j v4 still gets the eyes and hands and feet a little wonkey but somewhat better
