Installed the latest version of carrara while my internet was down; storms, 6 hour down time. Yes I love the new adjustable fonts, nice to be able to read them with out squinting. One problem so far, genesis/G2 saves from Studioload just with active morphs.

When I click parameters the only ones that show are the ones I adjusted in Studio. Making pretty much all my Studio saved characters worthless. The reason I use studio is because DAZ has never fixed "fit to" in carrara. Still will not fit anything to anything. So DAZ has effectively killed my work around. Thanks DAZ. This is why I gave up, DAZ is incapable of fixing anything in carrara. Once DAZ brakes it, it stays broke.

So uninstalling this new version; bye bye easy to read fonts, and going back to the previous version. That is the biggest reason I gave up on all this, I just can not deal with the frustration any more. 

I don't use Studio, but I have to agree about DAZ's support of Carrara.  For a while I tried complaining in the DAZ forums, and in requests to DAZ support.  All that got me was heckled by DAZ supporters (to which I probably over reacted), and ignored by DAZ staff.  I do use the newer version (C8.5), but don't see it as a big step up from 8.1.  Given the lack of updated documentation since V.7, its hard to tell.  But ... Carrara is still a great program, in spite of DAZ's virtual abandonment.  I'm still learning new features and new ways to use old features, thanks to folks like PhilW (Infinite Skills Carrara Tutorials).

Is it a list somewhere with the relevant évolutions and  regressions of C8.5
as compared to C8 ?

What about the Genesis 1 and 2 into Carrara ?
