              If you have not checked out Carraracafe.com in a while ----give it a new look. Hollywetcircuit has been working hard this last week to tweak things , add things , organize things and well just make things better. Between her and 3drendero recent efforts - its becoming a really cool spot now especially for new folks .

               There are so many learning tutorials sorted and orgaized --its making learning almost fun.

 

                So give it a look and check back there often as Holly seems like she is on a mission to take this to the next level . Thanks Holly for all your efforts to the Carrara community.

Do you know if Carrara 8.5 will be a free update to current Carrara 8 owners?

Hello Pappy

I didn't know you were a Carrara user.

The last word we got from Daz was there would be a "small charge" for the update. Hopefully that will change to free, but that has been the word since 8.5 was announced.

Keep checking in at carraracafe.com for more information.

I have been a user since the early "Raydream" days and upgraded with each new release.  Hope v8.5 will be a free update as it should be.  If it is not free, I will wait for v9.0 before purchasing.

ZBrush has been giving us free upgrades through several versions.  Would be nice If Daz would at least give us faithful a mid version free.
