Subject: Keep Scene Interface Settings?

Is there any way to keep the Scene Interface Settings from reverting back? I create a new scene, go to Scene Interface Settings and set the Displayed Unit to Inches and when I save and reopen the file it reverts back to feet every time. I can't find a way to permanently set this in the preferences either. Am I missing something?

I am not sure, but watching to see how this resolves.

Have you set the Preferences > General Scene Settings from the File dropdown menu?

In Preferences you can't set Inches/Feet only Metric or U.S.

Well, U.S. is inches and feet. What is displayed is defined by the scene scale you select when creating your scene at the start. ;-)

Only way I could make it stick was to change the scene magnitude, then save it.  It does keep the decimal places however, if you wanted to work in further fractions of feet :/

I see now when you create a new scene, small is default in Inches.  I am doing all my scenes in Medium scale, which is default to Feet.  However, you would think once you go into the Scene Interface Settings and change to Inches it would stick.  :-(

You would think so.  But as long as you change it back to medium to import anything in then back to small you should be good.
