As some of you have seen, I have also started the day version of Starbase 11.

Unfortunately, I have been completely and totally sucked into this image and have not worked on the night version hardly at all!  DANG!

But, progress has been made on the day version.  I'm assuming that about three more days work or so (ie a good solid weekend and a few night next week) and I will have the modeling for this critter done.

I just got Skyrim and HALO anniversary edition so having a good solid weekend of Carrara might be a little sketchy. 

Regardless, here's where I'm at today and it's coming along.

Reproducing these matte paintings by Albert Whitlock has been a LOT of fun and some good learning too!

I've finally started getting back to work on this image.  I'm not sure how much farther I'm going to take it but it's getting close to done.
