Subject: Animation question

I''ve got several .car files where I set up subsequent images (i.e. new poses every few seconds).   I set-up key-frames at each step for each figure, but when I scrub back to earlier poses, they haven't held... they seem to be in between poses.
What's the proper way to set these frames up so the poses hold?
Thanks!

The only thing I can think of is to check that your auto keyframing is turned on - it's the Animate button above the sequencer in the lower left.
