Hi UofO (Oregon, Ohio?) They are not designed to work that way unfortunately. That would also inherently involve modifying the step to shorter on a rise and longer on fall to integrate with the uneven terrain. The imported motion is absolute to the space it was created in within Poser. That said, you can individually alter each key frame from within Carrara but that does require some extra direct animation time. The words Animation and Easy shouldn't be used in the same sentence too often. ;-)

Ok, here's my question:
Using C6Pro, If I import a pz3 file from poser 6 that contains a character following a walk path and place the character on uneven terrain (say, a bumpy beach) how can I ensure that the character follows the ground but doesn't step in it? Does it have something to do with contraints? Gravity? Please keep in mind that I'm rather new to Carrara......
