is there a way to change the parameters for the quick render?
ie: background,lighting...

No. :-/ Wish you could. It always uses the Render Settings from the Render Room. If you need to stop it, just hit the escape button on your keyboard.

thanks M..just got back on line after my isp went out of business..got yout tuts the other day and have been goin thru them..nice job.
