I've been playing around with a new character in Hex. I've layed off for a while. This "widgit" is part slug, part Goro? It is rough. These characters take so long - the bones require hours of tweaking - weights/ mesh adjustments, joints, etc. Also, when I paint the mesh, it looked good in PHotoshop, but not to hot on the widgit. Higher resolution? Deeper colors?

The suckers are a bit too bright. Pehaps a darker green with some shiney black. The horns look like they are added on so perhaps blend between the green and red colours? I like the rib cage, how about a bit of a bump map to enhance the ribs?
