With Carrara 5, precision was increased but it seemed to come with some little rounding errors. So, to get the level of precision, you do need to add the zeros. :-/ But on the plus side, you can get that level of precision. :D If all my problems were as easy to solve as hitting a keyboard key two more times, I'd be a happy man.

I have been using Carrara 5 since its release without any problems... but... I have just discovered something.
When lining up model parts in the past, I accepted the numerical input figures to be correct and accurate. I have just found out that they are not that accurate.
For example... if I line up two parts with straight edges so that the edges abut at lets say 0.54 in... they appear to be correct, but zoom in very close and they are not sharing the same coordinates.
If I then input 0.5400 (an extra 2 zeroes) ins they will line up exactly.
My question is... is there any way to alter the precision settings anywhere to save the hassle of inputing the extraa 2 zeroes all the time...?
