Subject: Scenes take a long time to load in.

I am using Cararra Pro to render in. I am quite pleased with the results.

I have a simple scene saved. 1 spotlight and 1 bulb light withmy render settings. It takes at least 5 minutes to load that scene in. There are no Poser figures in it.

  Sometimes if I have a Poser figure in the scene, ave the scene and try to re-open it the scene never opens.

Ay advice would be appreciated.

If you have imported, but then deleted a Poser object (or any other objects) but then deleted them from the scene, Carrara keeps copies of the geometry with the file. Try going to Edit>Remove Unused Masters>Remove Unused Objects and then do the same thing for shaders and see if that helps. Post back if that doesn't fix the problem and we can look for something else. Mark
