Subject: Shader Ops "Fake Fresnel" - Cannot Get Right Effect

Is anyone using the Fake Fresnel shader from the "Shader Ops" addin (Digital Carvers Guild) with Carrara 5?

Have downloaded the demo and followed the instructions exactly, but I cannot get the effect I expect, which is as follows (click here):

Following the demo, all I can come up with is something like the following:

The demo only allows a Fake Fresnel parameter of 33.33 value.

I'm sorry, Fake Fresnel always returns black in the demo. It was one of the ones at the time I couldn't figure out a way to preview the effect without giving it away.
