Hi MatCreator There are two ways to do that in Carrara. The first way is to move your cursor over one of the axis arrows in the assembly room and then click and drag. The other way is to open the Motion tab of the Properties Tray and enter a numerical value. If you need a screen shot, please let me know. Hope that this helps. Mark

I so hate to compare Carrara and Bryce, but I dont know how else to describe things...
In Bryce, we have an option to move objects along their own axis (drop down menu in the edit pallette under the move and rotate tool), independent of the scene... How do we set objects to do the same in Carrara?!? All of the motion controls are so confusing, and I just cant figure it out.
