HDRI test

Full ray tracing rendering without shadows.
Carrara 5 Pro.  The girl is Victoria3 from Poser6.
HDRI, and Sky light Global illumination.

Why do I have the gray areas (shown by green curves) with the HDRI rendering.
I used the hdr files in the content CD of Carrara5 Pro.

Check these things. That you have light thru transparency checked in both places top section and GI section. Try it w/ no sky to check. There have been trans issues there w/ GI. Also check shadow quality and turn interpolation to off or 100%. Are you sure you have shadows disabled on all your lights? This is in assembly room. Other settings were for render room.

No need to think outside the box....
    Just make it invisible.

the transparency was not checked in GI section.
It works now.

That was put there in 5.03(I think) to address some of those weird problems. That's what it looked like, hard to tell sometimes tho.

No need to think outside the box....
    Just make it invisible.
