I am aware of making polygon hair...seen some tuts. However, I am curious if a displacement map would be a good idea for hair? I may need to play w/ this idea, but was curious about others experience with this.Could you use it to good effect as part of a polygon hair strip wig.

No need to think outside the box....
    Just make it invisible.
