Subject: maya to 3ds to carrara..

taking a city model from turbosquid...to 3ds to carrara....any experiences?

I used 3ds files from TurboSquid and 3D02.com in Carrara. The textures needed to be adapted, but I was planning that anyway. Sometimes a model is cut in lots of pieces. So shading can take some time. 3ds is the best file format for this kind of models, in my opinion.
