I'm trying to import an Xfrog tree in 3ds format.....the accompanying pics for the leaves etc are .tiff...

When I load the tree C5P-Beta says it can't find the textures...I have pointed it to the appropiate place...picked ALL file types, yet area appears blank, where the textures reside....I have to cancel many times..it's like it cylcing thru them several times before it stops.

Just need to know if this a beta-bug - no big deal - not upset.

Here is a screengrab :)

Thanks - I promise I'll leave you all alone soon ;P

Hi Debby,

I discovered this problem about a week ago when doing the same thing -- importing Xfrog plants. It seems that Eovia dropped the ball somewhere(?), as the plants came right in when importing into C4Pro, without any problems. The .tif import filter is missing during import in C5Pro beta (if you go into the editor, you can then put the tif on the object -- tif option is availablr there, but...pain in the fern!

At any rate, I did report this to Eovia's bug report line, hopefully all will be fine by the December release date.

Hi, it is a problem we just fixed. The tif format was simply missing from the format list. It will work fine in the release. Charles
