Can anyone help me figure out why my old version of Ray Dream Studio 5.5 won't save any other format than it's own? I'm running Windows XP Home. Trying to export an old RDS file to OBJ or 3DS I get disk error messages and I've got plenty of disk space.

It's been a long time since I've played with RDS5.5, but you might try re-installing it; I remember having some similar trouble way back when and a re-install (with the final patch that Metacreations released) did the trick. Good luck!

I'll bet I won't be seeing any signs of that patch if I can't find it on a backup around here too. I've had more success with the exports on the old render cow machine. Seems I need to just uninstall it from the new machine since there's only one hard drive and it doesn't like saving to the same drive as it's scratchdisk is on.
