Subject: Carrara 3 for Amapi vs Carrara 4

I already have Carrara 4 Pro and I just got Amapi 7.5 Pro, which comes with a special version of Carrara 3 'for Amapi'. My questions : 1- Is Carrara 3 for amapi a separate product or is it integrated as an extension of Amapi ? 2- Is there any reason I should install that special version of Carrara 3 since I already have Carrara 4 Pro ? Thanks in advance

The answer is that they included the Carrara 3 render engine and shaders with Amapi Pro. If you do all your rendering in Carrara 4 Pro, there is no reason to install the Amapi Carrara. Patrick Tuten

Thanks One of the reasons I upgraded to Amapi Pro was that I read too fast the Amapi product page and thought they were talking about inegration between Amapi and Carrara. I was surprised to find that it was really about a separate version of carrara :) Next time I will read in more details before taking a decision.
